Quest Dual 215 is in fact the industry's first 230 volt commercial dehumidifier! Like all Quest products you have the option of placing it ground level for plug and play operation or hung overhead up and out of the way. The Dual 215 is one of the most energy efficient dehumidifiers out right now performing using minimal amps (6.9) and maximum efficiency (6.1 pints/kWh). Compared to most standard dehumidifiers (3.8 pints/kWh), the Dual 215 could save up to $2,000 per year in electricity. Made in the USA for highest safety and environmental standards The Quest Dual 215 is UL-listed and ETL certified. Manufactured in the USA and built to last, it comes with a five-year powertrain warranty. The Dual 215 uses environmentally-friendly R410A refrigerant. Created using high environmental standards allows the Quest Dual 215 to create reusable water thats safe to use on consumable plants. Produces Reuseable Water Quest dehumidifiers produce very low TDS water with neutral pH. This water is safe to reuse for all plants, even consumable ones. (With Best Practices) Best Practices to Reuse Condensate Water Run your dehumidifier if it's been idle first If your dehumidifier has been sitting idle, run it for three days before using any condensate water from it. (Dehumidifiers that are allowed to sit for more than a couple of days should be dried out as completely as possible, to discourage mold growth.) Test condensate: Be sure it's free of contaminates Contaminate levels should be low enough and well within acceptable limits as long as your dehumidifier is in good working order and has proper filtration. It is always a good idea to test condensate water for heavy metals, nitrates, and bacteria – and state law may require you to if you are a commercial grower. Keep your dehumidifier and filter clean Quest dehumidifiers will produce condensate water that can be used as-is, as long as you keep the filter in place and clean regularly.
