This Galaxy CMH brand technology 315 ballast operates at 120/208/240 Volts and offers a rated life of 50,000 hours. This 315 Watt dimmable Galaxy 120/308/240 Volt ballast operates a 315 watt ceramic metal halide lamp ANSI: C182 at 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, 100%. The Galaxy LEC Electronic Ballast comes prewired with a lamp cord receptacle that is compatible with all Sun System LEC brand reflectors. This 315W CMH ballast comes with a 120 volt power cord. Plugs for the Galaxy Electronic Ballst for 208 and 240 volts are sold separately. What is Ceramic Metal Halide? Ceramic Metal Halide, sometimes referred to as Light Emitting Ceramic (LEC) or Ceramic Discharge Metal-Halide (CDM), is a type of light that is 10-20% more efficient than traditional quartz metal halide, and produces superior color rendition.
